@manticore-projects The exact reproducer now parses successfully on master 6c726d88:

insert overwrite table default.test select * from default.test2;

I checked both parts of the original report: the Insert AST has isOverwrite() == true and isTableKeyword() == true, and the target and source tables both retain "default" as their schema name. Both toString() and StatementDeParser produce:

INSERT OVERWRITE TABLE default.test SELECT * FROM default.test2

The output reparses with the same fields. INSERT OVERWRITE support was added in #2135, with existing coverage in InsertTest.testInsertOverwrite. The current identifier grammar also accepts DEFAULT in this context.

Default parsing, parsing with unsupported-statement fallback disabled, and the full Gradle check all passed. Could you consider closing this issue if there is no remaining failing example on master?
